The Last Chancer’s 2025 AGM was held on Saturday the 26th of July this year.
The first article of business was electing the new club board for the year.
Natasza stepped down as our Chairperson after 4 years, Dan was voted in to replace her moving from Events Manager to Chairperson.
John, Anto and Denny were all all voted in to maintain their current positions as Treasurer, Secretary and Social Media Manager.
Next up was a discussion of club finances and a membership system.
For ease of use, and for better management the Treasurer and new Chairperson, put forward the motion to shift the club’s membership to a 3 monthly payment system. Removing the monthly and six monthly options.
This was approved by all members present.
Another topic of discussion was moving away from the credit union to a fully online banking system like Revolut or Sumup, which would allow easier access for the board members, and more tools to keep track of all playing members.
This will be looked into more by the board over the coming weeks.
Along with this, as there were some folks new to the club in attendance at this AGM, we discussed a little of how we function as a community group and shared some of the amazing projects and events we’ve gotten to run over the last four years.
