Hello Chancers!
This past weekend of the 17th and 18th, our club hosted the Wicklow Waaagh 2,000 point Doubles tournament.
We had a wonderful full turn out of thirty two players split into 16 teams over two days.
Thank you all for joining us on this wonderful weekend, and making these events an awesome community experience. Seeing this events go from strength to strength has been a real delight.
It was the first event of this format for the WW, and with a forty percent increase in players for the weekend compared to the summer tournament.
Now on to our top prize winners for the weekend:
Our first prize winners were our very own treasurer John O Connor and his teammate Jan Karnowski who won all 4 of their matches across the weekend.
Best painted army went, for the WW in a row, our lovely Chair-person Dan Kelly.
And the Most Sporting player across the weekend was Sean Kinsella.
A great turn out for members of The Last Chancers over all, and a big thank you to all the new faces who came to us from some of the other clubs around the country, or just discovered us locally for the first time!
Looking forward to seeing your faces around in the coming months.
Down below you will find a collection of photos from both days taken by one of our lovely club members who acted as photographer for the day.
