This past weekend we had a Flames of War tournament run by several of our wonderful members.
The guys playing more and more games as they get ready to head of to the big tournament later this year.
For the first time this coming weekend we will have two separate RPG campaigns going on which is awesome to see!

Another great weekend of gaming down at the club.

As well as the usual board games, card games and wargames. We also had the new Irish ETC team for Flames of War had a practice day before they head off to the European tournament later this year.

On top of all the regular gaming, this past Sunday we also held the Clubs Annual General meeting.
At which, the club voted to continue with the current members of the board, as well as vote in the new Marshal role. Which will assist Board members in day to day club activities.

With our AGM coming up this month, the Board his hard at work getting everything ready and I'm really looking forward to see whatever the new Board will look like and what we can do for the club this year.

I hope you have all had a nice Easter break, the club will be back again this weekend with our 40k Intro day on Saturday along with all our usual activities.

If you have an interest in learning Warhammer 40,000 but just haven't had the chance or just haven't played in a while. Come on down. Bring a small army if you can (around 1,000 points) but if you don't have one yet we will also have a couple to spare for first timers.

This past weekend was a great success, we had an awesome 8 person Magic draft, which lasted most of the day.
We also had our usual round of board games and Warhammer 40k going on.

The club will be closed this weekend for St Patricks, but we'll be back in action for the 25th and 26th.

Something the club would really like to do is start picking up a few games to have for our members, are there any particular favourites that you'd like to see us get?

We are very happy to have been back open and running this week, and our members seem inclined to agree.
We had 15 people come and spend some time at the club over this last weekend and it was really wonderful to see everyone, especially a few new faces.
We had a wide variety of stuff going on from card games, board games, war games and RPGs. A little something for everyone all in one place.

This past weekend really cemented the importantce of what we're trying to do in bringing all these micro communities together into one place.
Thank you to everyone who came and I hope to see more of you soon!
